The IAAD, like other professional institutions, has been established as a not-for-profit, non-government organisation (NGO)  and may in due course, if members so decide,  become a charity. It will be a democratic organisation run by its members who will vote periodically for its leadership and its officers.

In the interim period, until IAAD’s membership increases sufficiently to permit this, it will be managed by a small team of volunteers led by Dr Alan Ross who has previous experience in international advocacy at high levels and in the establishment of Global public / private partnership NGOs ( one he previously established is now part of the international red cross and is working across 191 countries )

The ultimate beneficiaries will be the IAAD members and the IAAD will service the needs and promote the services of its members  to help create and promote ai-agent development as a new well regarded and well-paid profession.
